A sound engineer, recordist and sound artist from Co.Monaghan, whose primary inspiration is the soundscape of the outdoors. He is a recipient of the HearSay Festival 2014 'Ballyhoura' award for the piece 'Aran of the Saints', which explored the acoustic ecology of Inishere island.

A novelist and lecturer in Visual Culture at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin. Walking on Dry Land was his second novel, published by Serpent's Tail in 2011.
